The charger is ideally suited to charging 12 V lead batteries, as well as preselected 12 V
lithium batteries as per the "Permitted lithium batteries" section of the "Technical data"
chapter.

Pb Charge mode

WARNING! Charging batteries in the wrong operating mode can lead to serious
injury and damage. The selected operating mode remains active even after dis-
connecting the device from the mains or in the event of a power failure. Therefore,
the correct operating mode must be set when changing the type of battery.
Pb Charge (for 12 V lead batteries)
Li-Ion Charge (for 12 V lithium batteries)
Backup Mode (for 12 V lead and lithium batteries)
Pb Refresh (for 12 V lead batteries)
Pb Initial Charging (for 12 V lead batteries)
Device options
Connect mains cable to charger and plug into mains
Select other operating modes using the up/down keys

The charger is on standby - Pb Charge
mode is displayed.
Use Pb Charge mode for 12 V lead batte-
ries for:
- Charging or conservation charging
with the battery either fitted or removed
