OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove the kettle from the base, open the lid and fill it with cold water (the water level must be within the MIN-
MAX watermarks inside of the kettle).
2. Place the kettle on the base. The electrical contacts will connect automatically. Thanks to the central connector
design, the kettle can turn around 360° and can be placed on the base from any side.
3. Connect the base to the mains. You will hear a sound signal, all the indicators will light up for a moment and then
the current temperature will remain lit. The kettle is ready for use.
4. By pressing the On/Off button, the kettle automatically boils water to 100 °C.
5. If you want to select one of the pre-set temperatures (45, 60, 70, 85, 90 or 95 °C), press the Temperature control
button repeatedly until the desired temperature lights up on the display and press the On/Off button to confirm.
From now on, the kettle will boil water to the set temperature.
6. The kettle beeps three times and automatically switches off after reaching the boiling point or the set temperature.
7. Remove the kettle from the base and use the water.
8. If you need to reheat the water that has just been boiled, wait approximately 30 second before switching on the
kettle again.
Note:
• During the heating process, a red indicator is always displayed.
• You can stop the heating process at any time by pressing the On/Off button.
• The kettle has the KEEP WARM function. If you set the temperature to 45, 60, 70, 85, 90 or 95 °C, press and hold the
Temperature control button for approximately 3 seconds. A green indicator lights up on the display, which indicates
that the KEEP WARM function is activated (to switch off the KEEP WARM function, press and hold the Temperature
control button again for approximately 3 seconds, the indicator goes off). Once the selected temperature is
reached, the kettle will maintain this temperature (45 °C for the next 8 hours, 60 °C for the next 4 hours, 70 and
85 °C for the next 2 hours and 90 and 95 °C for the next 60 minutes).
• A few drops of water appearing on the base of the kettle after use is not a sign of a defect. It is a small amount of
condensed water, which deactivates the kettle thermostat.
• If you have set the temperature to 45, 60, 70, 85, 90 or 95 °C, this temperature can be changed during operation by
pressing the Temperature control button (not applicable when boiling water to 100 °C).
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Caution!
Before each cleaning of the appliance, unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet! Make sure the appliance has
cooled before handling it!
To clean the surface of the appliance, use only a damp cloth, no detergents or hard objects, as they can damage the
surface of the appliance!
Never clean the appliance under running water, do not rinse it or immerse it in water!
Descaling
During normal use, deposition of impurities from water occurs. Use commercially available descaling agents to clean
them (follow the manufacturer's instructions).
Note: Remove the deposits regularly, approximately once a week, depending on the water hardness and frequency of
use. The deposits significantly reduce the heating capacity and the lifespan of the appliance.
