Startup
Charging and startup must be carried out by an approved specialist company. In the process, the
function and the leak-tightness of the entire system, including the parts installed in the
manufacturer's factory, are to be checked.
Slowly opening the ball valves on the module's inlets and outlets prevents pressure surges
during the flushing procedure. Charging and flushing must be carried out until it is ensured, that
the system is completely vented! Flow noises during operation of the buffer charging pump
indicates, that there is still air in the system, which is to be drawn off by the pump.
Notes:
As with all service water circulation systems,
an overpressure- or expansion safety device is
to be provided.
Annual maintenance of the system by a spe-
cialist company is recommended.

FWM
sembly and startup, please refer to our gen-
eral
assembly and startup handbook.
Service Water Temperature
The regulation of the service water temperature is carried out via the thermal fixed-value
controller that is already preset to a temperature of 55°C. With the help of the red and blue
temperature-limiting pins (Memory-Clips) you can limit or fix this setting range. A rotation in
a clockwise direction reduces the hot water temperature. An increase is not advisable, due to
possible calcification (see DIN 1988) and a reduced solar energy yield.
Recommendation for the buffer temperature:
This should be at least approx. 10 K above the required service water temperature.
Circulation
The fresh water module is prepared for optional retrofitting of a circulation pump. The
circulation pump unit FWMZP (Item No. 130 415), available as an accessory, consists of a
pump with module connection part (Push-In design), a ball valve and the insulation.
For the installation the connection must be cut free in the module insulation. For the assembly
of the FWMZP the split pin of the blind cap must be withdrawn on the block (circulation
connection) and the blind cap must be removed. Push in the FWMZP up to the stop and secure
with the split pin, then fit the insulation. A flushing connection must be fitted in the circulation
pipe before the pump.
