The following operating modes can be selected through different electrical interconnections of
the pump in the gray power box:
I
Time-Independent Circulation-Circuit:
The circulation pump is activated by short actuation of
a hot water withdrawal point and deactivated by the
integrated calcification-protection thermostat on
reaching the set circulation return temperature. The
timer has no function in this operating mode and must
be set to the operating mode "continuous
operation".
Time-Dependent Circulation-Circuit:
The circulation pump is started by the timer that can be
set individually and interrupted on reaching the set cir-
culation return temperature. A thermostat ensures for
the cycled operation of the pump. Outside the preset
time zones there is no circulation
operation. The timer must be set to the operating mode
"Timer".
CAUTION:
Also during the assembly of the circulation pump unit, tightening torques or the effects of force
on already pre-installed module components and connection points are to be strictly avoided!
Note:
Please observe the instructions of the manual enclosed with the circulation pump and the
relevant country-specific standards for the heating of drinking water!
Setting the control thermostat:
The arrow is to be set to the required switch-off
temperature with a small screwdriver. The switch-on
temperature is 5 K below the set value.
Temperature scale
CAUTION:
The circulation return temperature set at the fac-
arrow
tory is 40°C. If modified, the thermostat must be
set 10°C below the hot water temperature.
