2.2. EXPLANATION OF TERMS
The term "measuring device" used in this instruction handbook refers to the HOLEX HCT caliper, as well as the HOLEX HCT
depth gauge.
3. Safety
3.1. GROUPED SAFETY MESSAGES

3.2. INTENDED USE
 Digital caliper for inside/outside measurements.
 For both industrial and private use.
 Use it only in accordance with the technical data.
 Use only when it is technically in good condition and safe to operate.
3.3. REASONABLY FORESEEABLE MISUSE
 Avoid vibration, abrupt movement, shaking, impacts.
 Do not use in explosion hazard areas.
 Do not expose the work lamp to intense heat, direct sunlight or naked flames.
 Open the casing only at the battery cover to change the batteries.
 Do not make any unauthorised modifications.

4.2. BUTTON FUNCTIONS

– When the Bluetooth connection is active: Transfer measurement value.

▶ Before starting any installation, cleaning or maintenance work, remove the bat-
teries from the device.

water and consult a doctor.
