▪ When using the electric tool, place yourself in a
stable position and always keep your balance. Hold
the electric tool to ensure continuous operation and
withstand unexpected situations, such as backlash;
The backlash is a sudden reaction that happens when
the tool is turned on and when the rotating accessory
gets stuck or is tightened. The counterstroke of the
rotating accessory causes the tool to be forced in the
opposite direction to the rotating accessory rotation.
Backlash occurs due to incorrect use of the electric tool
or work procedures not suitable for the work
performed. Loss of electric tool control can cause
serious injury. The following precautions must be taken
to avoid back-slipping:
- Place and hold the rotary accessory in the correct
position and tighten it securely;
- Do not position your body into the area to which the
tool will be used afterwards in case of backlash;
When the rotary accessory locks, immediately turn the
tool off.
▪ Make sure that the ventilation grids are not
obstructed during operation. Do not insert any
objects into the ventilation grids;
▪ The drilling accessories and hammer may become
too hot during operation. Avoid touching them, they
may burn. Wear protective gloves when changing
tools.
▪ Make sure you do not damage electrical circuits, gas
and water pipes when working with the tool. Any
damage to these elements may cause fire, explosion,
electric shock or material damage;
▪ Avoid using the tool on surfaces coated with paints
that contain lead or other materials harmful to
health. Contact with or inhalation of dust may cause
allergy reactions and/or respiratory diseases;
▪ Materials containing asbestos should not be
processed. Asbestos is carcinogenic.
