Before
performing
cleaning,
accessories, repairing and maintenance tasks, you must
unplug the power cord.
Replace worn out or damaged parts immediately, so that
the power tool is always in a safe operating condition.
Cleaning:
The power tool should be thoroughly cleaned thoroughly
after each use.
Do not use aggressive cleaning products. These products
may damage plastics and metals, compromising the safe
operation of the power tool.
Maintenance:
Only maintenance works described in this instruction
manual may be carried out, all other works must be
performed by an official dealer.
Keep all nuts and bolts tight so the power tool is in safe
operating condition.
If any components or safety devices are removed for
maintenance
works,
immediately and correctly.
Use only VITO-approved accessories for this machine or
technically identical parts. Failure to do so may result in
personal injuries or damages to the orbital sander. If in
doubt, if you lack knowledge or resources, you should
contact an official dealer.
Your orbital sander should only be serviced by the
manufacturer's internal service personnel, or other
qualified personnel, replacing any necessary parts with
original parts.

1. Fit the dust tank (9) by turning gently until it clicks into
place;
The dust is extracted directly into the dust tank through the
sanding disc and base (1).
2. Turn and pull the dust tank simultaneously to remove it
again.
For safety reasons it is essential that you use the dust
tank or a dust extraction system.
Use only sanding discs with matching dimensions and
holes.
▪ Place the sanding disc on the base (1). Check that the
holes in the sandpaper match the base.
▪ To remove the sanding disc, simply pull it off.
While operating the orbital sander you must consider
certain precautions and procedures of use:
▪ Hold the sander firmly. Loss of control of the sander can
cause injury;
▪ When working on small or loose parts, use clamping
devices to fix parts securely and stably;
▪ Do not apply too much pressure on the orbital sander
against the workpiece. If the speed drops abruptly,
reduce the pressure applied to the orbital sander
immediately;
▪ Always hold the orbital sander down until the sanding
base (1) has completely stopped;
▪ Wear hearing protection when using the orbital sander.
Exposure to noise can cause hearing loss;
▪ Switch off the orbital sander immediately if any of the
following problems occur:
- Grease leakage from the ventilation slots;
- Damage on the housing of the orbital sander;
- Damage on the "ON/OFF" switch";
- Appearance of smoke or characteristic burning smell.
