24. Position the first baluster (C03). Adjust the height of a long baluster (C67) cutting the end to the same height as
those already assembled (fig. 1).
25. Taking the railing from the starting side, secure element F34 to the floor next to the first baluster (C81) and drill
with a Ø 8 mm point. Use elements C58, B12, B83, B02.
Caution: baluster C81 must be secured to the tread using element C72 assembled on the tread (determine the
position of the holes using the template provided for elements C71).
On the other hand, if there is no railing on the starting side, secure the following to the floor near the first
baluster (C03): element F01, and drill using an Ø 8 mm point. Use elements C58, B12, B83 and B02 (fig. 1).
26. Cut sections of handrail BH4 to length; assemble with part B51. For optimal fixing, the handrail must follow
about 1/8 of a turn from the contact point (fig. 1).
27. Fix handrail to balusters with parts CD3; keep balusters vertical. Insert angle parts BG4, BG2 and BG3 with
screws BB3 and BB6 for changes of direction. Apply end caps BG4 to ends of handrail with parts BH6 and B08
(fig. 1).
28. Cut all the other balusters to measure. Insert the cut balusters into elements C71 and secure with articles B02.
Secure to the handrail using articles CD3 and a screwer. We recommend assembling the shorter balusters first.
29. Complete railing assembly by inserting elements B82 into the lower part of the balusters C03 (fig. 1).
Assembling the railing on the landing and the supplementary balustrade
30. Assemble column (C04) to element G01 protruding from the landing (E02) (fig. 8) (fig. 9) (fig. 1).
31. Position elements F01, using elements C58, B83, B02 on the landing (E02). Drill the landing (E02) using a Ø
5 mm point, maintaining the same centre to centre distance between the holes as the one used between the
balusters (C03) of the railings assembled before.
32. Position the shorter balusters (C03) and tighten elements B02 from the articles F01(fig. 1).
33. Cut 5 cm off the straight handrail BH4. Drill a hole in the top using a 3.5mm Ø point and assemble the parts
BG4, BG3 with the screw BB3 (fig. 1).
34. Fit the assembly obtained with the elements BD2, BG2, BH1 and BG8 on the element C04 and tighten with the
dowel BC3 (fig. 1). Assemble the straight handrail BH4 on the element C04 and tighten with the element BB6
(fig. 1).
35. Cut the other end of the straight handrail BH4 based on the dimensions of the balustrade, drill a hole using a
6 mm Ø bit to fasten the part BG4 or drill a hole using a 3,5 mm Ø bit to fasten the parts BG2+BG3 with the
parts BB3. Fasten the handrail BH4 using the parts CD3, checking that the balusters are vertical. Tighten the
parts B02 (fig. 1).
36. Depending on the position and the existance of walls around the stairwell, further C03 alusters could need to be
positioned (fig. 9).
37. In this case, consider an equal distance between from other balusters or the wall. When fastening, we
reccomend drilling the E02 landing with a d. 5mm drill bit and using the F01, C58, B83, B02 elements, and we
reccomend dirrling the floor with a D. 14mm drill bit and using the F01, B02, B13 elements (fig. 1)
Final Assembly
38. To further stiffen the staircase at intermediate points, secure elements F09 to the wall and join using elements
F08, with the balusters (C03). Drill using a Ø 8 mm point and use elements C50, C49, C58, B12 (fig. 11).
