• During use, do not place or leave appliance where it may be damaged by an animal or exposed to weather.
• Do not use this appliance with a damaged or broken comb nor with teeth missing from the blades, as injury may occur.
• Always attach plug to appliance first, then to outlet. To disconnect, turn unit "OFF" then remove plug from outlet.
• Do not crush, disassemble, heat above 100ºC (212ºF), or incinerate the appliance, due to risk of fire, explosion, or burns.

Charging the battery
Before the appliance is used for the first time, it should be charged for 3 - 5 hours. It then takes 3 hours to fully recharge the battery again.
The appliance is charged via the charging stand. Place the appliance in the charging stand so that charging contact is made. During charging, the charging indicator is
illuminated. The charging indicator will begin to blink when almost fully charged and may shut off when fully charged. Note: If the appliance is fully charged and is placed
in the stand to charge, the charging indicator may not turn on. This does not indicate the appliance can no longer charge, it means the appliance does not need to draw
electricity because it is already fully charged.
Battery operation
Switch on the appliance using the on/off switch (Fig. 1a) and, after use, switch it off again (Fig. 1b). When the battery is fully charged, the appliance can be used for up to
90 minutes.
Lithium-Ion Battery Replacement, Clipper Disposal and Recycling:
If you choose not to replace the battery, the entire, intact clipper unit must be disposed. Do not attempt to remove the battery for disposal.
Lithium-Ion batteries are subject to local disposal regulations. Many locations prohibit disposal in standard waste receptacles. Check your local laws and regulations.

Cutting with attachment combs
Depending on the desired haircut, the appliance can be operated with or without attachment comb. The scope of supply includes the following attachment combs: 3 mm, 6
mm, 10 mm and 13 mm cutting length.
Attaching/removing the attachment comb
Slide the attachment comb all the way on to the blade-set in the direction indicated by the arrow. (Fig. 2a).
The attachment comb can easily be removed by pushing it in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 2b)
Cleaning and care
Oil the blade set (Fig. 3).
Do not immerse the appliance in water!
After each use, remove the attachment comb (Fig. 2b) and use the cleaning brush to remove cut hairs from the housing opening and from the blade set (Fig. 5). Remove
the blade set to do this (Fig. 4a).
The charging contacts on the appliance and on the charging stand should always be kept clean.
Only wipe the appliance with a soft cloth, which may be dampened slightly. Never use solvents or scouring agents!
The blade set can be cleaned with hygienic spray order no. 4005-7051.
For a long-lasting, good cutting performance, it is important to oil the blade set frequently (Fig. 3). Only use blade set oil order no. 0230-1070 (118 ml) or no. 3310-230
(4oz.). Blade set oil and hygienic spray is available from your dealer or our Service Centre.
If the cutting performance deteriorates after long use despite regular cleaning and oiling, the blade set should be replaced. Use the blade guard when the appliance is not
in use.
Always store the appliance with the blade guard in place.
Changing the blade set
Switch off the appliance using the on/off switch (Fig. 1b).
The blade set can be removed by sliding it away from the housing in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 4a). To replace the blade set, position it with the hook in the opening of
the housing and press it onto the housing until it clicks into position (Fig. 4b).
This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other household wastes throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the environment or
human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To return your used device, please
use the return and collection systems or contact the retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this product for environmental safe recycling.
