For the electrical connection, the instal-
lation site must have a constant 230 V/50 Hz
electricity supply, with a main circuit discon-
nect device (fuse) on site.
To avoid hazards, the mains cable may
only be replaced by the manufacturer, its
customer service, or a similarly qualified
person.
Only the same type of cable supplied by the
motor manufacturer may be used.
Install fixed controllers in a visible position.
Both the rated torque and rated operating
time must be compatible with the properties
of the operated system.
ATTENTION!
Observe the instructions on installation
and operation of the system!
Failure to follow these instructions leads
to increased risk of injury!
Proper operation of the unit can only be
guaranteed if it is installed and fitted correct-
ly and if there is sufficient electricity supply
and maintenance.
Secure the system against unauthorized use.
Take safety precautions to make sure that
the equipment cannot be switched on acci-
dently.
Before working on the unit, disconnect
all connection cables to be fitted from the
electricity supply and secure them against
unintentional reconnection.
Remove all cables that are not needed.
Put all equipment that is not required for
actuation with the motor out of operation.
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Attach the actuating element of a manu-
al release unit (emergency hand crank) at
a height of less than 1.8 m.
ATTENTION!
Observe the instructions for correct use
and for the operating conditions!
Improper use may lead to an increased
risk of injury!
Use the motors only for opening and closing
roller shutters and awnings.
Use only original components and
accessories from the manufacturer.
Instruct all persons in the safe use of the
motor.
Observe the moving system (roller shutter /
awning) and keep people away until it has
finished moving.
Do not allow children to play with fixed con-
trols or with the remote control.
Keep the hand transmitter so that accidental
operation is not possible, e.g., by children
playing.
Carry out all cleaning work on the roller
shutter (awning) when it is in a voltage-free
state.
Take special care with moving and open/
extended units, since parts may fall down if
fixings (e.g. springs, brackets, consoles, etc.)
loosen or are broken.
