ASSEMBLY
16.1 Initial activities
16.1.1 Delivery content
Please check the product contents immediately after receipt for any eventual transport damage or
missing parts. Claims from transport damage or missing parts must be placed immediately after
initial machine receipt and unpacking before putting the machine into operation. Please understand
that later claims cannot be accepted anymore.
16.1.2 Workplace requirements
The ground has to be even, in level and hard. It must be suitable at least to weight it with double
weight per square meter than the machines net weight.
The chosen workplace must have access to a suitable electric supply net hat complies with the
machines requirements.
The machine must be placed in a way that at least 0.8m room free space around the machine.
For longer workpieces sufficient additional place before and behind the machine should be
calculated.
16.1.3 Preparation of the surfaces
Uncoated metal machine parts have been insulated with a greasy layer to inhibit corrosion.
This layer has to be removed. You can use standard solvents that do not damage the machine surface.
Do not use solvents based on nitrite, aggressive solvents like break
cleaners or scrubbing agents!
These damage the machine surface.
16.2 Assembly
Assembly of the sub-frame and wheels (Fig. 3-5/27)
First attach the legs (21) loosely to the base plate (5) of the machine using 2 screws for each leg.
Use the round head M8x12 screws to do so.
Screw the 2 long struts (41) and the 2 short struts (42) loosely to the legs (21). The doubled-over
part of the struts must be at the top.
Attach the rubber feet to the legs (21).
Place the machine onto the legs
Align the entire base frame and tighten all screws.
Fasten the holder (29) for the push stock (28) as follows: Screw the lock nut onto the bolt (29)
and then screw this into the housing until the push stick (28) can be hung up.
Assembling the saw table (Figures 6-9)
Slacken the wing nuts (45) on the underside of the saw table (15) and remove the chain bar (2)
from the saw table.
Lead the blade through the slot (a) in the machine table and place the machine table on the table
guide so that the clamping screw (47) fits through the mounting (48).
Screw the saw table tight with the wing nut (18).
Place the chain bar (2) onto the saw table (15) so that the screw heads (50) slide into the guide
slots (51).
Check that the blade (25) runs freely and does not touch the saw blade.
To remove the saw blade guard, proceed in reverse order.
