Unbalance value display
After stopping. the value displayed by indicators a and b corresponds to the internal
and external unbalance value, rotate the wheel manually, positioning lamps c and d
constantly flash, c indicates the internal unbalance value, d indicates the external un-
balance value.
Rotate wheel until all group c or d lamps light up;
this means that the position of
the rim's highest point corresponds to the unbalance point.
d indicates the value of
the internal side of the rim and
c indicates the external side.
Mount a balancing weight corresponding to the measured value at the unbalance point
of the rim, a
indicates the internal side of the rim, b
indicates the
external side.
Repeat the described procedures until indicators a and b display "00".
Dismount the wheel from the rotation shaft; the balancing measurement is now com-
pleted.
Conversion between different units of measurement
(1) "inch"-to-"mm" conversion
"inch"-to-"mm" conversion for rim width "L" . In "L" values are displayed in inches; if values
are to be displayed in millimetres, the conversion function must be used.
Procedure: keep the
button pressed for a long time and at same time press the
button near "L" until the setting required is achieved. After completing the
GB
"inch"-to-"mm" conversion, the rim width is displayed in "mm".
(2) "inch"-to-"mm" conversion for the rim diameter.
In normal conditions, the value is displayed in inches. If values are to be displayed in
"mm", the "inch"-to-"mm" conversion function must be used.
Procedure: keep the
button pressed for a long time and at the same time press the
button near "D"; now the "mm" unit can be used.
Turn off the machine, then re-start the machine. The rim diameter value is displayed in
inches.
(3) "gram"-to-"ounce" conversion
The unbalance value is displayed in grams. If values are to be displayed in ounces,
