6.1 HOW IT WORKS
The VOSS.pet fenci duo generates electrical pulses at regular intervals. It is connected to the
earth on the one hand (earthing) and to the conductor material on your the fence on the other. If
a connection is made between earth and fence (short circuit), e.g. by animal contact, the circuit
is closed. This electric shock is perceived as unpleasant by the animal and leads to the desired
deterrence.
The circuit is closed via the earth. It is not necessary that you build a closed fence. You can end
the fence as you wish.
During operation, the load on the fence is continuously measured. The output power of the VOSS.
pet fenci duo energiser is automatically adjusted to maintain the desired output voltage within
the maximum range. The energy consumption is thereby adapted to the fence condition.

7 ASSEMBLY AND GETTING STARTED

There is a risk of smouldering in the event of heat accumulation. The device
must not be covered with textiles etc. during operation, as this may cause heat
to build up and possibly cause a fire. Therefore, do not install the device in areas
at risk of fire (e.g. hay and straw storage areas).
7.1 INSTALLATION
When selecting the installation location, observe the safety instructions given in chapter 2 .
Choose a place where:
a good grounding can be achieved,

the energiser can be mounted in a dry and safe place,
ƒ
a continuous flow of water is prevented,
ƒ
children and animals cannot reach the device,
ƒ
the energiser is easily accessible.
