7.6 ECO MODE
The device has an ECO mode to save energy. In this mode, the pause between pulses is approximately
twice as long compared to normal operation.
1. Switch the energiser on by pressing and holding the on/off button (1) for more than 2 seconds.
2. To switch to ECO mode, press and hold the On/Off button (1) for more than 2 seconds when the
unit is switched on.
The control LED (2) flashes purple in time with the pulses.
3. To switch the energiser back to normal mode, with the energiser switched on, press and hold
the on/off button (1) for more than 2 seconds.
The control LED (2) flashes blue in time with the pulses.
4. To switch off the energiser, briefly press the On/Off button (1).
7.7 CONTROL LED AND DEEP DISCHARGE PROTECTION
The control LED (2) on the front of the device shows you the status of the power supply, the fence
voltage and faults on the fence.
Meaning of the colours:
∙
blue: Normal operation (pulse frequency 1.66 sec.)
∙
violet: ECO mode (pulse frequency 3.00 sec.)
∙
red: Warning or error condition (e.g. battery voltage drops below 12 V or fence voltage drops
below 2.5kV)
N OTICE
When the battery voltage drops below 11.6 V, the alarm sounds (beep). If the voltage
drops below 11.4 V, the device switches off to protect the battery from deep
discharge (damage of the battery).
