may have become misaligned during transportation.
Furthermore, after a period of time, it will probably be
necessary to readjust due to wear.
For more precise results, the fence must be aligned with
the disc blade.
Make sure that the blade has been correctly
installed on to the arbor and that the arbor nut is
properly tightened.
Raise the splash guard.
Slightly loosen the two screws at the top of the
fence.
Carefully adjust the fence until it touches both front
and rear edges of the blade. Do not press against
the blade. Adjust the fence until there are no gaps
between the blade and the edge of the fence.
Lock the clamp.
Tighten the two screws at the top of the fence.
Set the scale on the fence to "0" next to the blade.
7.3 Adjusting the splash guard holder
Adjusting the splash guard holder (Figura 22)
Unplug the saw and remove the tilting table.
Raise the splash guard.
Loosen the three support screws.
With the fence touching the disc blade, adjust
the splash guard holder until it is aligned with the
fence.
With a Phillips screwdriver, tighten the screws.
7.4 Adjust the locking lever
Adjust the locking lever (Figure 23)
Over time, the fence may loosen. If the fence does not lock
securely to the saw table, it may require adjusting.
With a hexagonal wrench, loosen the cam screw.
Turn the cam to tighten as desired.
NOTE: An arrow is visible on the rotor. The wider end of
the arrow is the tighter end of the setting. The smaller end
of the arrow is the looser end of the setting.
After making the desired adjustment, firmly tighten
the cam screw.
7.5 Adjusting the sliding of the fence
Adjusting the sliding of the fence (Figure 24)
If the fence does not move smoothly along the table, it can
be loosened or tightened using the fixing screws on each
side of the cutting guide.
With a hexagonal wrench, loosen or tighten the
fixing screws to adjust the fence movement as
desired.
Attach the fence to the table and ensure that it
slides with ease. Make additional adjustments for
fence alignment if necessary.
