PANEL DUST FILTER CLEANING AND INTEGRITY CHECK
The dust ilter must be regularly cleaned to maintain the
eficiency of the vacuum system. Follow the recommended ilter
service intervals for the longest ilter life.
WARNING!
Wear safety glasses when cleaning the ilter.
–
Do not puncture the ilter.
–
Clean the ilter in a well-ventilated area.
–
–
Wear appropriate dust mask to avoid
breathing in dust.

7.
Clean the ilter using one of the methods below:
8.
Method "A"
Collect dust from the ilter. Gently tap the ilter against a lat
surface (with the dirty side down) to remove dust and dirt.
NOTE
Take care not to damage the metal lip which extends
past the gasket.
Method "B"
Collect dust from the ilter. Blow compressed air (maximum
pressure 6 Bar) into the clean side of the ilter (in the opposite
direction of the airlow).
Method "C" (only for polyester dust ilter)
CAUTION!
For paper ilter: Do not use water or detergents to
clean it, otherwise it can be damaged.
Collect dust from the ilter. Then soak the ilter in warm water
for 15 minutes, then rinse it under a gentle stream of water
(maximum pressure 2.5 Bar). Let the ilter dry completely before
installing it back into the machine.
For a better cleaning, it is allowed to wash the ilter with water
and non-lathering detergents.
This provides better quality cleaning but reduces the life of the
ilter, which will have to be replaced more frequently. The use of
inadequate detergents can damage the ilter.
Install the ilter in the reverse order of removal and note the
9.
following:
•
Clean the ilter housing.
•
Install the ilter with the strainer facing upwards (arrow
(G. Fig. 14) upwards).
•
If the ilter gasket is damaged or missing, it must be
replaced.
