ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS / INFLATION
Do not use a sharp tool !
For the first inflation and in order to get acquainted with your new product, inflate indoors at room temperature where the
material will be soft and assembly process made easier. If it was stored at a temperature below 0° C / 32° F, leave it at
20° C / 68° F for 12 hours before unfolding. Inflate your kayak with the supplied high pressure river pump. This pump
features a hose and adapters to fit the valves on this product. It will inflate your kayak up to the recommended working
pressure.
Any use of an air compressor will damage your product and automatically void all warranties.
Self Bailing System
Your kayak has been designed with a Self Bailing System; The Drain Ports feature Drain Plugs for those of you who
would like to use the kayak in calm waters and do not wish to get their bottoms wet. To close the drain ports with the
provided plugs, it may take a certain amount of force and effort to insert (force) the plugs into the holes, this tight fit will
assure that the plugs will stay in place until you remove them before a thrilling white water adventure or if you decide to
do some kayak surfing.
The self bailing system offers a tremendous advantage especially in white water, the self bailing system is designed to
drain the water quickly from the kayak. A self bailing system improves the performance and adds safety when running
white water, a kayak full of water is heavy and difficult to maneuver.
Important Note:
Before you begin inflation, you may want to either plug the drain ports for a dryer ride or leave them open to benefit of
the self bailing feature. The drain ports are more accessible with the boat deflated.

1. Choose a smooth and clean surface to unfold your product.

2. First install the footrest support system to the floor of the kayak, slide the black PVC pipe through the openings on
the footrest straps on the floor of the kayak and at the same time through the 2 soft EVA pads, which schould be
L
positioned between the footrest straps.

3. SK200DS: Attach the fin on the underside by folding the hull. Insert the extremities of the fin in the loops and stretch
S
the hull as much as possible to hold it in position. Once the kayak is inflated, this operation becomes impossible. The
H
curvature of the fin must be oriented towards the back end of the kayak.
4. Then familiarize yourself with the valves. Your kayak features one type of valve:
High Pressure Recessed Valve (as shown in opposite figure):It is a spring loaded
recess valve. This valve allows your kayak to be inflated at a high pressure. To
inflate, open the cap by turning it counter clockwise. Check and make sure the spring
loaded pin is not depressed and locked in the open position. To verify that the valve
is not open, push the pin down and turn it clock wise. If the pin stays down, you have
now opened that valve. To close it, turn the pin counter clockwise so it springs back
up. Now the valve is closed and it should remain closed for the inflation process.
(Note, the air pressure of the pump will open the valve as the air is flowing in). To attach the pump hose to the high
pressure recess valve, use the appropriate nozzles and fittings which are supplied with the high pressure river pump.
Push the fitting into the valve and turn clock wise to lock it. Inflate until you will reach the required pressure (see point
5). After inflation disconnect the hose from the valve and close the valve with the cap. Please note: The valve won't
be airtight until the valve is closed with the valve cap.
5. Inflate the kayak in the order of inflation as shown on the capacity plate printed on the product (see also figure # 1, 2,
– numbering of the valves). Inflate all chambers evenly. Please observe the specified working pressure printed
next to each valve! (See also paragraph 5).
6. Max. air pressure : The correct working pressure for this item is: a) 200 mbar / 3 PSI for the side chambers and
b) 480 mbar / 7 psi for the drop stitch floor. Please check the pressure with the supplied pressure gauge (please
refer to the "Instructions for the manometer") Overpressure : deflate until you reach the recommended pressure.
Drop of pressure : inflate again slightly.
7. Then install the seat(s) to your kayak by using the D Rings on the side air chamber and the carbine brass hooks at
the end of the straps (see also seat(s) installation figure 1 – SK100DS, 2 – SK200DS). Pull the straps as necessary
to adjust the seat to your comfort.
In this package you will find a wrench (see opposite picture). The use of this
tool is only necessary if the high pressure valve is leaking. This may could
happen during transportation or after several uses. In case of leakage
problems inflate the kayak properly, leave the cap open and screw clockwise
firmly the body of the valve to the base by using the wrench.
