IMPORTANT TIPS
• The PRATIC 6i ELECTRIC RICE COOKER can make up to 6 cups or Measuring Scoops of
raw rice.
• Always use the measuring scoop that comes with your appliance.
• To open the Hinged Cover, hold the Handle and press the Safety Latch. Gently lift the Cover to
its resting position.
• When closing it, make sure that the lid is perfectly closed with the Safety Latch.
• Always open the cover very carefully, as steam can escape and cause burns.
• Never latch the Pot without making sure that it is fully dry on the outside.
• This device works by controlling the water level inside. If the water level or steam reaches
zero, it automatically switches off and the appliance immediately starts the heating operation,
which keeps food at the right temperature until serving time.
• Steam produced inside the appliance during cooking is regulated by the Steam Valve. Never
cover or obstruct the steam outlet during the cooking process or while steam is coming out.
• To avoid accidents and burns, be careful when handling the Valve, as it releases hot steam.
• Your PRATIC 6I ELECTRIC RICE COOKER keeps food warm for up to 8 hours.
• The cooking times suggested in the instructions and recipes in this manual are only estimates,
since the type, quantity, freshness, and quality of the ingredients, as well as the recipe and
seasonings, may affect the end result.
• Cooking times can also be longer or shorter, according to the user's personal taste.
• If this happens and the food is still not cooked to the user's liking, add more water and turn
the appliance back on.
• This appliance is not recommended for sautéing or frying food.
• The On/Off Button can be used to turn your appliance off or on again while cooking without
damaging it.
• Never cook more than 6 Measuring Scoops of white rice or 4 Measuring Cups of brown rice.
• Do not allow food to exceed the height of the Steaming Basket.
• Once the food is ready, your PRATIC 6i ELECTRIC COOKER can be placed on the table.
• To avoid damaging the nonstick coating of the Pot and to prevent accidents, always use the
spoon that comes with the product when cooking and removing food.
• Don't forget to clean the Water Reservoir at the end of each use.
