mains.
Blot the spill.
Clean the touch control area with a
sponge or a damp and clean cloth.
Dry the area completely with a
paper towel.
Unplug the cooking hob from the
mains.
Possible causes
There is no electricity.
The icons are locked.
There may be a slight film of
water on the buttons, or you
may be using your fingertip
to press the buttons.
Irregular-edged cookware.
Use of inappropriate and
abrasive scouring pads or
cleaning products.
This may be due to the
construction of your
cookware (layers of
different metals that vibrate
differently).
The induction hob may emit an
acoustic signal and switch off,
and the icons may not work if
wet. Be sure to dry the touch
icons before switching the
induction hob back on.
Possible solution
Make sure the hob is connected to
the mains and it is on.
Check if there has been a power
failure. If the problem persists,
please contact the official Cecotec
Technical Support Service.
Unlock the touch icons. Check the
instructions in the "Operation"
section.
Make sure the touch icons are dry
and press them with the base of your
finger.
Use cookware with flat and smooth
bases. See section on "Choosing the
right cookware".
See section on "Cleaning and
maintenance".
This is normal for cookware and does
not indicate a fault.
