GRINDER ADJUSTMENT
• Unscrew the collecting container from the housing, hold the cover with
the crank and turn the mill upside-down.
• Hold the crank firmly while turning the adjustment bar clockwise until
the finest possible setting. It is achieved as soon as you notice a stronger
resistance. Attention! Do not turn beyond this resistance point.
• Then turn the adjustment bar back anti-clockwise one full rotation
(12 clicks), which usually corresponds to the correct grinding degree for
espresso (portafilter machines).
• Turning the adjustment bar further anti-clockwise opens the grinder,
the grind becomes increasingly coarse.
• Turning the bar clockwise provides a finer grind until the finest possible
grind is reached just before the grinder is blocked.
• Attention! After about 6 full rotations (about 72 clicks), the adjustment
bar releases from the spindle and the single grinder components fall out.
You will find the correct settings for your taste, type of preparation and
favourite beans over the course of using your mill. The settings in the
following table can serve as guideline values.
The grinder can be adjusted on the bottom in fine
steps with the help of a click function. Determine
the desired degree of grinding by trial grinding the
mill:
