Back to back installation
NOTE: If you are not making a reverse or back to back
installation, skip this step and continue with the step 5.
If the hot and cold inlets are reversed (hot on
right and cold on left), remove the screw (1),
inverter (2), sleeve (3), and bonnet (4) from the
valve body (D) with reversed supply connections.
Rotate the cartridge (5) 180°, so H appears on
the right. Install the cartridge, making sure that
the key is fully engaged with the slot in the
valve body (D). Slide the bonnet (4) over the
cartridge (5) and thread them onto the valve
body (D). Tighten the bonnet (4) securely with
adjustable wrench until the o-ring on the valve
body (D) is covered completely. Reassemble
the sleeve (3), inverter (2, with the arrow side
facing down) and screw (1).
NOTE: Never install the valve body (D) upside down!
The appropriate locking torque of the bonnet (4) is
10~12 N·M. Do not overtighten.
