Remove Cable Ties
1. Cut cable ties holding cables to lower handle.
Remove Gas Tank
1. Disconnect fuel line from engine (Fig. 2).
2. Remove gas tank from tank bracket (Fig. 2).
Carefully set tank aside.

Disconnect Throttle Cable
1. Remove (2) self-tapping screws securing belt
cover to deck (Fig. 3). Set cover and fasteners
aside for reinstallation.

2. Loosen cable clamp screw and disconnect
throttle cable from throttle lever (Fig. 4).
