MOUNTING THE SHOULDER STRAP AP1500 (SOLD SEPARATELY)
Depress the carabiner to open it and hook the carabiner onto the shoulder strap loop
(Fig. 6a).
For safe and better operation, put on the shoulder strap across the shoulder as shown
in Fig. 6b. Adjust the shoulder strap length to a comfortable operating position. Hold the
machine with both hands: one hand on the rear handle and the other hand on the loop
handle. The trimmer head should be parallel to the ground so that it easily contacts the
material to be cut without the operator having to bend over.
There are two ways to release the strap. Take it off from your shoulder directly (Fig. 6c)
or press the carabiner of the strap and disconnect it out from the shoulder-strap loop
(Fig. 6d).
When an emergency occurs, take the strap off from your shoulder immediately, no
matter what way the strap is on.
You should not use the single-shoulder strap and double-shoulder strap simultaneously.
