REPLACE THE STRING TRIMMER
GUARD WITH THE BRUSH
CUTTER GUARD
1. Remove the string trimmer guard
by loosening the two bolts. Then
remove the bolts, washers, and
guard (Fig. 13a). Keep the guard in a
safe place for future use.
2. Lift the cutter head and face it
downward. Align the two mounting
holes in the guard with the two
assembly holes in the base of the
shaft. Make sure that the internal
surface of the guard faces towards
the metal blade (Fig. 13b).
3. Install the brush cutter guard
included in the EGO kit ABB1203-1
with the two bolts and washers from
the string trimmer (Fig. 13b).
4. Use the supplied hex key to tighten the bolts.
