PROBLEM

CAUSE
◾
The grease in the gear
case is nearly gone.
◾
The cutting line is
unbalanced.
◾
The lower cover of
trimmer head is worn
out.
◾
The drive shaft or
trimmer head is bound
with grass.
◾
There is not enough line
on the spool.
◾
Line is tangled in the
trimmer head.
◾
The line is too short.
SOLUTION
◾
Lubricate the drive gears
in the gear case, refer to
"TRANSMISSION GEARS
LUBRICATION" section in this
manual.
◾
Lightly tap the trimmer head on
the ground while operating with
the trimmer head. If necessary,
tap several times.
◾
Before further use, replace
with a new lower cover. Refer
to chapter "RELOADING THE
CUTTING LINE".
◾
Stop the string trimmer, remove
the battery and then clean the
drive shaft or the trimmer head
thoroughly.
◾
Remove the battery and replace
the new cutting line, follow the
section "LINE REPLACEMENT"
in this manual.
◾
Remove the battery, reload the
cutting line, follow the section
"LINE REPLACEMENT" in this
manual.
◾
Remove the battery and pull the
lines while alternately pressing
down on and releasing the bump
head.
