When the air conditioner status is abnormal, the temperature indicator on indoor
unit will blink to display the corresponding error code. Please refer to below list to

WARNING
• If any of the phenomena indicated below occurs, please turn off the air
conditioner, disconnect the power immediately and then contact a dealer or
qualified professionals for service.
• The power cord is overheating or damaged.
• There is an abnormal sound during operation.
• The air switch trips frequently.
• The air conditioner emits a burning smell.
• The indoor unit is leaking.
• Do not repair or refit the air conditioner yourself
• If the air conditioner operates under abnormal conditions, it may cause a
malfunction, electric shock or fire hazard.
3. CUSTOMER SERVICE
Becken has designed this appliance in order to guarantee maximum reliability.
However, if a problem occurs you may be able to determine its cause by following
the procedures suggested in this section.

Eliminate the odor source.
Clean the filter.
Disconnect the power, reconnect the
power, and then turn the unit on again.
The noise is the sound of refrigerant
flowing inside the unit, which is a
normal phenomenon.
This is the sound of friction caused by
expansion and/or contraction of the
panel or other parts, due to the change
of temperature.
Do not attempt to open the appliance – there is a risk of electrical shock.
If you are not able to solve the problem please contact your seller or manufacturer.
All users must be familiar with this section. Knowing what could go wrong can help
to prevent problems occurring.
WARNING
Any attempt to repair the appliance without contacting the manufacturer will
void the warranty.
If the problem persists take your appliance to the customer service of any Worten,
Modelo or Continente store in order to solve the problem.
Worten Equipamentos para o Lar provides a 2 year warranty for manufacturing
defects from the date of purchase of the appliance. The warranty is applicable for
correct use and maintenance of the appliance, namely according to the instructions
in this manual. Malfunctions caused by any other situations are not covered by the
warranty.
The repair of electric appliances must only be made by qualified technicians in order
to prevent future problems.
To avoid unnecessary risks, any malfunctions concerning wires or other components
must be repaired in a specialized technical support workshop because suitable tools
are required.
4. PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT
In order to protect the environment we strive to reduce the volume of packaging
used, limiting it to three easily sorted materials: cardboard, paper and plastic.
The appliance is manufactured using recyclable materials once disassembled by
a specialized company. Comply with local regulations concerning recycling of all
materials.
