The print head protective foam is required
for transport. Place the foam so that it is
flat against the print path.
Tape Strips:
When transporting,
secure the front cover
with tape to prevent
opening.
(Width 50 mm, length
200 mm or more.)

Repacking the Printer
To transport the RX1 printer, repackage the printer
with the original packaging material.
Failure to do
so will void any warranty.
If the original packaging
materials are not used or the printer is not packed
correctly, the printer may be broken during transport.
Always save the print head protective foam. Do not
throw away any packaging as it is needed to safely
transport the printer.
Remove all accessories and attachments from the
printer – this includes any print media such as ink
ribbon, paper roll and holders as well as the USB
cable, power cable and paper tray – and store or
transport the accessories separately.
DON'T DISCARD!
Printing Block Carrier Cushion
An improved cushion is enclosed in the printer kit. Use
the improved printing block carrier cushion in place of
the factory cushion every time the printer is repacked
for transportation.
The printing block carrier cushion is required for
transportation. Any shipment of the unit without the
cushion may result in damage to the unit's printing
mechanism. Place the cushion in the proper position
as shown in the diagram to prevent damage.
