Caution!
The smoke detector is designed for indoor use only. Do not expose the device to
any moisture or rain.
The product does not warn against fire or smoke if the batteries are empty.
Do not open or manipulate the smoke detector since this could result in mal-
functions.
6. Installation
The smoke detector is operated with a non-replaceable 3V Lithium ion battery
and does not require any extra wiring. You can install the device either on the
ceiling or on a wall.
7. Commissioning the smoke detector
Take the device out of the package and remove all the packaging material. Un-
screw the cover and remove the small magnets as shown in the figure below, in
order to switch on the device.
Note: Replace the magnets to switch off the device.
