GENERAL NOTES
WARNING:
Always use a manual screwdriver
when adjusting this jig and installing door/drawer
hardware. A powered drill or impact driver must not be
used to adjust this jig or install door/drawer hardware.
• The Short Guide should be positioned relative to
0mm/0" on the Short Guide Measurement Scales.
• The Drilling Guide hole centres are relative to 0mm/0"
on the Long Guide Measurement Scales.
• Always ensure that the Long Guide scribe line is
positioned correctly on both the left and right side
before tightening.
• The Short Guide, Long Guide and Drill Guides all have
inbuilt scribe lines to ensure accurate positioning to the
Measurement Scales (Fig. 2).
• This product is reversible. Either the Metric or Imperial
Measurement Scales can be used to adjust the jig,
before using the jig on either left or right hung doors.
GUIDE SETUP: HORIZONTAL USE
Short Guide
• Loosen the Short Guide M4 Machine Screws to allow
the Short Guide to slide freely (Fig. 3).
Central (e.g. Drawers, Dishwashers, Top-Hinged
Overhead Cupboards):
• Measure and halve the door/drawer width, and move
the Short Guide to this position on the Short Guide
Measurement Scale (Fig. 4).
Offset (e.g. Doors):
• Calculate the required centre line of the handle/knob
relative to the correct door/drawer edge, and move the
Short Guide accordingly (Fig. 5).
• Tighten the Short Guide M4 Machine Screws (Fig. 6).
Long Guide
• Loosen the Long Guide M4 Machine Screws to allow
the Long Guide to slide freely (Fig. 7).

• Calculate the required hole position of the handle/
knob relative to the top/bottom of the door/drawer, and
move the Long Guide accordingly (Fig. 8).
• Tighten the Long Guide M4 Machine Screws (Fig. 9).
GUIDE SETUP: VERTICAL USE
Short Guide
• Loosen the Short Guide M4 Machine Screws to allow
the Short Guide to slide freely (Fig. 3).
• Calculate the required hole position of the handle/knob
relative to the top/bottom of the door/drawer edge,
and move the Short Guide accordingly (Fig. 10).
• Once positioned, tighten the Short Guide M4 Machine
Screws (Fig. 6).
Long Guide
• Loosen the Long Guide M4 Machine Screws to allow
the Long Guide to slide freely (Fig. 7).
• Calculate the required hole position of the handle/knob
relative to the edge of the door/drawer, and position
the Long Guide accordingly (Fig. 11).
• Once positioned, tighten the Long Guide M4 Machine
Screws (Fig. 9).
DRILL GUIDE SETUP: HORIZONTAL
AND VERTICAL USE
• Loosen the Drill Guide M4 Machine Screws to allow
the Drill Guides to slide freely (Fig. 12).
For Handles (2 Holes):
• Loosely attach a handle to the Drill Guides using
suitable handle screws (Fig. 13a).
• Move the handle centrally about the 0mm/0" position,
ensuring that the Drill Guides are equidistant from the
0mm/0" position (Fig. 13b).
• Tighten the Drill Guide M4 Machine Screws (Fig. 13c).
For Knobs (1 Hole):
• Move one Drill Guide to the 0mm/0" position
(Fig. 14a).
• Tighten the Drill Guide M4 Machine Screws (Fig. 14b).
