Pressure regulator
The pressure regulator keeps the steam
boiler pressure constant during operation.
Heating
shuts
operating pressure is reached in the steam
boiler and comes on again when there is
a pressure drop in the steam boiler due to
use of steam.
Boiler thermostat
The boiler thermostat turns off the
heater in case of fault, such as if there
is no water in the steam boiler and the
temperature rises.
When refilled with water, the equipment
will be ready for operation again.
Safety thermostat
The safety thermostat keeps the equipment
from overheating. If the pressure regulator
and the boiler thermostat malfunction and
fail and the equipment overheats, the
safety thermostat shuts it down. To reset
the safety thermostat, contact the nearest
KÄRCHER after-sale service.
Maintenance cap
The maintenance cap shuts the boiler
off against impending pressure. The
maintenance cap also works as an
overpressure
valve.
