How
to Delag
the Start
of Self-Cleaning

Touch the DELAYSTARTpad.
[]
Using the number pads, enter the time of
dag gou want the clean cgcle to start.

Touch the STARTpad.
[]
Touch the SELFCLEAN pad.
[]
If a time other than the default time is
needed, use the number pads and enter
the desired clean time.
You can change the clean time to ang time
between 3 hours and 5 hours, depending on
how dirtg gour oven is.

Touch the STARTpad.
The oven door locks automaticallg. The displag
will show the start time. It will not be possible to
open the oven door until the temperature drops
below the lock temperature and LOCKED/
DOOR _ goes off in the control displaU.
After a Self-Clean
Cycle
You mag notice some white ash in the oven.
Wipe it up with a damp cloth after the oven
cools.
If white spots remain, remove them with a
soap-filled steel wool pad and rinse thoroughlg
with a vinegar and water mixture.
Thesedeposits are usuallg a salt residue that
cannot be removed bUthe clean cgcle.
If the oven is not clean after one clean cgcle,
repeat the cgcle.
, You cannot set the oven for cooking until the
oven is cool enough for the door to unlock.
, While the oven is self-cleaning, gou can touch
CLOCKto displag the time of dag. To return to
the clean countdown, touch SELFCLEAN.
Standard Racks
If theg become hard to slide, wipe their side
edges and the oven rack supports with cooking
oil.
Extension Rack
If it becomes difficult to slide, see Extension
Rack in the Care and cleaning section. Do not
sprag extension rack with cooking sprug or
other lubricant sprugs.
If it becomes hard to remove or replace, wipe
the oven rack supports with cooking oil. Do not
wipe cooking oil on the slides.
NOTE:After the first self-clean cgcle,the grog
stainless steel surfaces will change color on
enameled extension rocks. This is normal. It is
not recommended to self-dean nickel extension
racks as the whole rock will discolor because of
the self-clean temperatures.
