Care and cleaning of the range,
The gasket is designedwith a gap
at the bottom to allow for proper air
circulation.
Do not rub or clean the door gasket-it
has an extremely low resistance to
abrasion.
If you notice the gasket becoming
worn, frayed or damaged in any way
or if it has become displaced on the
door, you should have it replaced.
Cleaning the Oven Door
Tocleanthe insideof the door:
Because the area insidethe gasketiscleaned
duringthe self-cleancycle,you do not needto
cleanthis by hand.
Thearea outsidethe gasketand the door liner
can be cleanedwith a soap-filled or plastic
scouringpad,hot water and detergent.Rinse well
with a vinegarand water solution.
Tocleanthe outsideof the doon
iii: Usesoapandwater to thoroughlycleanthe top,
sidesand front of the ovendoor.Rinse well.You
may alsousea glasscleanerto cleanthe glasson
the outsideof the door.Donot letwater drip into
the vent openings.
iii tf any stain on the doorvent trim is persistent, u se
a softabrasivecleaner
and a sponge-scrubber for best results.
iii: Spillage of marinades, f ruitjuices,tomato sauces
and bastingmaterialscontainingacidsmay
causediscolorationand shouldbe wipedup
immediately. W hensurfaceiscool,cleanand
rinse.

harshabrasiveson the outsideof the door.

Lift-Off Oven Door (on some models)
Thedoor is very heavy.Be careful whenremoving
and lifting the door.
Donot lift the door by the handle.
Toremovethe door:
[] Fullyopenthe door.
[] Pullthe hingelocksdown towardthe door
frame,to the unlockedposition. A tool, suchas
a smallflat-bladescrewdriver, m ay be required.
[] Firmlygraspbothsidesofthe door at the top.
[] Close door to the door removalposition, w hich
ishalfway betweenthe broilstop positionand
fully closed.
[] Liftdoor up and out untilthe hingearm isclear
of theslot.
To replace the door:
[Z] Firmlygraspbothsidesofthe door at the top.
