Insert the Handle (Item 4)
into the Handle Receiver
tube (Item 2) until the Handle
small spring button reaches
the top of the Handle
Receiver tube. Press the
spring button in until it allows
the Handle to drop down to
the point where the spring
button clicks into the hole in
the side of the Handle
Receiver tube.
USE
HEIGHT ADJUSTEMENT
The height of the Handle and Lower Leg Support can be adjusted to suit the user
and/or carer.
Turn the Handle Adjustment Knob anticlockwise to loosen the Handle. This is shown
by direction A in the photo below.
Then, reposition the Handle to the required height as shown by the direction B in
the photo below.
Finally, turn the knob clockwise until the Handle is secured. This is shown by
direction C in the photo below.
If the Handle is raised too high it will lock, which can be identified with an audible click.
If this occurs, press the push button (shown) whilst pushing down on the Handle to
release the Handle.
After performing this, adjust the Handle height as previously describes.

Turn the knob clockwise
until it locks the handle at
the required height

Your RS1 Patient Turner
device is now complete and
ready for use.
Please DO NOT attempt to
transport the unit while the
patient is standing on the
unit.
ALWAYS ensure that the
Lower Leg Support (Item 3)
and Handle (Item 4) are
positioned at the correct
level to supply optimum
comfort and support to
each patient that is using
the device.
