Maintenance schedule
* = General maintenance done by the operator. The
instructions are not given in this operator's manual.
Maintenance
Do a check of the all safety devices on the product.
Do a check on the vibration dampening units on the steering handle.
Do a check of the wear and sharpness of the blade.
Make sure that all electric connectors are clean.
Make sure that the motors are clean.
Clean the external surfaces of the product.
Do a general inspection.
Do a check of the lock mechanism and the attachment points of the weights.
Do a check of the vibration dampening units on the cutting head.
Clean the internal components of the product.
To do a general inspection
•
Make sure that the nuts and screws on the product
are tightened.
•
Make sure that the cables on the product are not in a
position where they can become damaged.
•
Examine the electrical parts for damage. Do not
operate a product that has damaged electrical parts.
To clean the product
WARNING:
prevent circulation of dangerous dust.
•
Clean the product in an applicable area.
•
Use approved protective gloves with Kevlar when
you clean the product.
•
Clean the external surface with a moist cloth.
•
Do not use water on electrical components.
•
Do not use a high-pressure washer or compressed
air to clean the product.
To replace the vibration damping units BS 75
1. Remove the blade or attach the blade protection.
To replace the blade on page 19 .

2. Remove the weights. Refer to
assemble the product BS 75 on page 24 .
3. Remove the 5 screws.
4. Tilt the product rearward. Make sure that the product
is stable.
