TRAPP shredders, single or three phase, are fitted with
single voltage motors (127 or 220 V) or dual voltage
(127 and 220 V). They leave the factory without the
electrical connection so that the customer can select
the type of connection, according to the mains supply
voltage.
To correctly make the connection, see data shown
on the motor plate and the number printed on the
insulation of the wires.
For shredders sold without motor, the choice of
minimum output shall follow the technical data
shown on pg. 45.

Attention!
Before making any connections, make sure
power source is disconnected.
1. Make sure the power source where the
shredder will be installed is compatible with
the data shown on the motor plate.
2. Disconnect the power source to make motor
connections.
3. Make the connections shown according to
the voltage of the power source.
4. Use insulating tape in the connections done
to protect them.
5. Make sure the connections are well insulated.
6. Turn on power source and check the rotation
of the shredder.
