Setting the timer to switch multiple cooking zones

shortest time (e.g., zone 1 set to 3 minutes, zone 2 set to 6 minutes: the timer indicator will
show "3").
NOTE:
The flashing red dot next to the power level indicator means that the timer indicator
is showing the cooking zone time.

If you wish to check the time set for another cooking zone, press the corresponding
cooking-zone selection touch icon once. The timer indicator will display the set time.
When the countdown is finished, the corresponding cooking zone will automatically switch

Overheating protection
This hob features a temperature sensor for internal thermal control. The hob will automatically
switch off if the sensor detects an excessive temperature.
Detection of small objects
If you place an unsuitably sized or non-magnetic cookware (e.g., aluminium) or any other small
object (e.g., knife, fork, key) on the induction hob, the latter will automatically enter Standby
mode within 1 minute. The fan will continue to run for a further 1 minute.
Automatic protection shutdown
The induction hob features an automatic protection shutdown function. The hob switches off
automatically if you forget to switch it off. The default operating times for different power
levels are shown in the table below:

Tips
Cookware quality
-
Suitable materials: steel, enamelled steel, cast iron, ferromagnetic stainless steel,
aluminium with ferromagnetic base.
-
Unsuitable materials: aluminium and stainless steel without ferromagnetic base, copper,
brass, glass, ceramic, porcelain.
The cookware manufacturer must specify whether the product is induction compatible. To
check if they are compatible:
-
Pour a little water inside the cookware and place it on one of the cooking zones with
heating power [ 9 ]. The water should boil within a few seconds.
-
A magnet should stick to the cookware bottom.
Some cookware may emit noise when placed on a cooking zone. This noise is normal and does
not imply a fault, nor does it affect the cooking process.
Cookware size
The cooking zones adapt to the size of the cookware. However, the diameter of the bottom
-
of the cookware should match that of the cooking zone as closely as possible.
-
To get the most out of the induction hob, place the cookware in the centre of the cooking
zone.
