CHAIN OIL
• Use motor oil SAE #10W-30 all year round or
SAE #30 ~ #40 in summer and SAE #20 in
winter.
NOTE
• Do not use wasted or regenerated oil that
can cause damage to the oil pump.
Addendum: Attaching the air cleaner cover smoothly
1, Adjust A/C cover knob

The protector is not included in this chainsaw unit.
CHAIN OIL
We recommend the use of special RedMax Bar and Chain oil
with good adhesion characteristics.
Never use waste oil. This results in damage to the oil pump,
the bar and the chain.
It is important to use oil of the right grade (suitable viscosity
range) to suit the air temperature.
When RedMax bar and chain oil is not available, use clean
motor oil.
Use oil of the following grades;
SAE#30 -- in summer
SAE#10 -- in winter or when cutting resinous trees.
