Maintenance
To
preserve
all the
playback qualities
of
your
tape-recorder,
you
should
at
regular intervals clean
the
magnetic
heads
and
drive
mechanism (pinch
roller
and
capstan).
Soiling
of
these parts by
magnetic
dust from tapes
may cause
a
power loss and an alteration
in
the sound
level.
ln order to clean these parts, proceed
as
follows:

out.

Clean

heads,

pinch roller

capstan
with

cotton-wool stick dipped in surgical spirit
