Choosing the set-up location
WARNING!
For all set-up variants, observe the safety
distances to combustible materials (see
Figures F, I, M)
• With all set-up variants, make sure that it is an appropriate
location, so you do not have to move the SPIN after lighting it.
WARNING!
When used indoors, observe the
specifications for room size, operating time
and ventilation under "Notes on room size"!

• Use the SPIN body for the conversion without the base and
without an additional riser.
WARNING!
The SPIN may not be used indoors when set
up as a torch!
• Depending on the desired height, assemble the parts of the
ground stake as indicated on the assembly sheet (Figure J1).
• Screw the nail to the ground spike.
NOTICE
By combining the different rod lengths of 48
cm, 34 cm and 17 cm, the following total
lengths can be achieved:
99 cm, 82 cm, 65 cm, 48 cm, 34 cm, 17 cm.
• Screw the body into the ground stake threads (Figure J2).
• Insert the spike into the ground with the nail pointing downwards
until the spike is completely in the ground (approx. 25 cm).
• Make sure the ground spike has a secure footing.
• Insert the Bio-Burner into the body (Figure J3).
• Place the glass cylinder on the body (Figure K).
• Follow the instructions under "Lighting the fire"!
NOTICE
Depending on the soil conditions, the
insertion depth of the nail can vary. If the
soil is very soft and loose, it is possible that
the ground spike cannot be set up securely.
If safe placement cannot be ensured, the
SPIN torch must not be used.
WARNING!
If the ground spike is left in the ground
without the SPIN, serious accidents can
occur due to tripping. There is a risk of
puncture injuries and bruises.
Do not leave the ground spike in the ground
without the SPIN!
Use additional stand
• Alternatively, the SPIN can also be set up in combination with
a ground spike and the separately available stand (Ø 230 mm).
When using the stand, make sure that it is placed on a firm and
level surface, such as a table a patio floor or pavement.
CAUTION!
The base of the the SPIN 900 table-top fire
(Ø 190 mm) is not suitable for use with the
ground spike/torch.
