Cleaning Hook Race and Feed Dog
WARNING:
Raise the presser foot and needle, and then unplug
the machine.
DO NOT dismantle the machine other than as
explained in this section.
[1] Remove the needle and presser foot.
_ Screwdriver
_ Setscrew
_ Needle plate
[_i] Remove the setscrew and needle plate.
[3] Take out the bobbin and bobbin holder.
[_1 Clean the bobbin hotderwith brush and_;:
drycloth ............................ ......
_ Bobbin .... ...................
[5:] Brush out dog and clean
the hook

% Wipe inside of the hook race with a dry cloth.
NOTES:
You may use
vacuum
cleaner.
This machine does not require oiling.
[?] Replacing Bobbin Holder and Needle Plate
[8] Insert the bobbin holder.
Make sure to fit the knob next to the stopper in the
hook race.

_ Knob
_b Stopper
[9] Insert the bobbin and attach the needle plate
aligning the holes with the guide pins.
_ Holes
[i0] Tighten the setscrew firmly.
_ Setscrew
NOTE:
After cleaning the machine, attach the needle and
presser foot.
