To retract the spindle support device
z Follow the above instructions in reverse.
z After coupling the trailer, fully retract the spindle support device only
in high gear mode.
watch for the lifting limit (the force required to turn the crank
handle rises).
After every operation switch the gear to low gear. Always
place the crank handle in the holder provided for it.
Folding tube version:
Prior to extension, swivel the folded part to the working position and secure
it with a bolt.
Drop type model:
Drop type supports may be extended manipulating a securing bolt or a
spring-loaded lever and following extracting the drop tube.
Attention!
– Release the lock bolt only unloaded.
– Grip the drop tube by hand.
– D'ont let the drop tube fall down in end postion.

– Persons should keep off the working area.
– Lock the drop type support safely in the end position.
To load the supported trailer vehicle
If the appropriate safety regulations are observed, the supported trailer
vehicle may be
z loaded using a crane and
z driven on with a forklift truck.
Do not exceed the centre of gravity, otherwise the trailer
vehicle will tip over.
7. TESTING
The rear supports must be tested at least once a year by an authorised
person per TRBS 1203 (Technical expert).
Technical experts are persons, who have sufficient knowledge based
on their specialist training and experience, in the areas of winches, lift
and pull systems and the relevant official occupational health and safety
rules, accident prevention regulations, guidelines and generally accept-
ed engineering rules (e.g. EN standards), to evaluate the operational
safety of winches, and lift and pull systems. Technical experts are to be
nominated by the operator of the equipment. Performance of the annual
occupational safety inspection as well as the training required to obtain
the aforementioned knowledge and skills can be provided by haacon
hebetechnik.
8. SERVIcE
Only allow the device to be serviced and repaired by trained personnel.
Only use genuine spare parts for repair work.
Do not make any modifications or additions to parts with a safety function.
Additional mountings must not adversely affect safety.
The relevant regulations apply.
Test the function after repair.
Cleaning
Clean the support device as part of your normal vehicle care.
Do not spray high pressure cleaner jets direct at
the support device.
