3. SPECIFIC WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
1.
Be sure to fill the compressor with a premium SAE 15W/40 non-detergent oil before each use.
Running the air compressor without oil or with little oil will cause equipment damage.
2.
Make sure all tools and equipment used with the air compressor are rated for the proper capacity.
Do not use any tool or equipment that will not work from 0 to 115 psi.
3.
Do not leave the compressor unattended for an extended period of time while it is plugged in.
Disconnect the compressor after working.
4.
Keep the compressor well ventilated. Do not cover the compressor during use.
5. DRAIN THE AIR COMPRESSOR DAILY. Do not allow moisture to accumulate inside the air compressor.
6. MAINTAIN A SAFE WORK ENVIRONMENT. Keep work well lit. Make sure there is adequate adjacent work
space. Always keep the work area free of obstructions, grease, oil, trash, and other debris. Do not use the
air compressor in areas near flammable chemicals, dusts, and vapors.
7.
AVOID INJURIES. Never point the airflow valve at people or animals.
8.
DO NOT ALTER OR REMOVE THE FACTORY SEALED PRESSURE RELEASE VALVE.
4. THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW
- All compressors are equipped with a safety valve that trips in case of malfunction of the pressure switch
to ensure the safety of the machine.
- When installing a tool, the air flow at the outlet must be turned off.
- When using compressed air, you must know and comply with the safety precautions to be taken for each
type of application (inflation, pneumatic tools, painting, washing with water-based detergent only, etc).
5. USES AND STEPS
1. Attach the wheels and foot.
2. Screw on the air filter (Fig.2)
3. Check oil level with sight glass and top up if necessary. Use premium quality SAE 15W/40 oil. (Figure 2)
4. Check the correspondence between the data on the compressor nameplate and the actual
specifications of the electrical system. A variation of + - 10% with respect to the nominal value allowed.
5. Insert the power cord plug into a suitable outlet, verifying that the pressure switch button located on
the compressor is in the OFF position. (Fig. 3)
6.
The Transport Cap (4.1) must be replaced by the compensation valve (4.2), failure to do so may
cause internal damage to the compressed air generation system.
7. At this point, the compressor is ready for use.
8. Pull up the pressure switch, the compressor starts and injects air into the reservoir through the supply
pipe (Fig 5)
9. When the upper calibration value (set by the manufacturer) is reached, the compressor stops, venting
excess air from the header and supply tube through a valve located below the pressure switch. This makes
it easier to restart later due to the absence of pressure on the head. When air is used, the compressor
automatically restarts when the lowest calibration value (2 bar between top and bottom) is reached.
10. The pressure in the reservoir can be checked on the gauge provided (Fig. 6).
11. The compressor continues to run according to the automatic cycle until the outlet pipe switch is
turned off.
