6. MAINTENANCE
• Unplug the appliance before doing any work on it.
• Operate the components until they have no more air inside.
• Before each use, check the machine for damage, especially the cord and plug.
• Check the safety valve.
• The machine must not be used if any of the safety components are damaged.
• Use only original spare parts and accessories.
• Do not clean the machine and its parts with solvents, flammable or toxic materials.
• Use only a damp cloth.
• Replace oil after the first 100 hours of operation and every 300 hours thereafter (Fig. 10). Remember to
check the oil level at regular intervals. Use premium quality SAE 15W/40 oil.
• Periodically (or after working with the compressor for more than an hour), drain the condensate that
forms inside the tank (Fig. 9) due to humidity in the air. This protects the tank from corrosion and does
not restrict capacity.
• Exhausted and condensed oil MUST BE DISPOSED of in accordance with environmental protection
standards and current legislation.
• The compressor must be disposed of in accordance with the methods provided by local regulations.
