WIRING & INSTALLATION
Wire and install the KMS67 drivers and horns to your speaker
cans as per the manufacturer's instructions. For optimal
performance, consider loosely fi lling 50%-100% of the can
with poly-fi l.
Wire the cans in parallel as illustrated at the top of Page 3.
If you've added an additional mid to each channel with the
KM67S, please reference the diagram at the bottom of page
3.
To get the best performance with minimal distortion out of your
KM system, use a high-pass fi lter (or crossover); 80–100Hz is
a good starting point.

CROSSOVER
The KMS67 uses a built-in crossover for both the mid and horn. To adjust the output level, use the jumper
on the back of the horn-loaded compression driver by pushing down on the terminal, inserting the wire
and then releasing the terminal to secure it. For example, when using the KMS67 with extra mids provided
in the KM67S, move the jumper wire to +6 dB.
Horn-loaded compression driver
0 dB gives a fl at frequency
response and is the recommended
confi guration for use with one mid.
+6 dB gives a fl at frequency
response and is the recommended
confi guration for use with two mids.
