A WARNING:

UNLOADING FASTENERS
1. Disconnect the tool from air source.
2.Pull back the pusher, pressing bypass lever of
the pusher to allow pusher to bypass nails and
slowly allow pusher to retum to nose of the tool.
(see figure 5)

3.Slide the fastener to the rear magazine. Once
the nails have slid back to the hold back spring,
press the tab on the hold back spring to push the
spring back and allow the nails to come out of
the magazine. (see figure 6)

A WARNING:
The
tool
may
fire
when
it is first
connected
to
the
air source.
Always
connect the tool to the air source before
loading fasteners to prevent injury from
unintended
cycling. Always
make
sure
i

tool's
magazine
is empty
at the

beginning of each work session, before

A WARNING:
Always unload all fasteners before removing
tool from service.
A WARNING:
Always
disconnect
the air source
before
unloading.
CLEARING JAMS
Occasionally, a fastener may become jammed in
the firing mechanism of the tool, making the tool
inoperable. To remove a jammed fastener, follow
the steps below:
1. Disconnect the tool from air source.
2.Remove fasteners from the tool. Failure to do so
will cause the fasteners to eject from the front of
the tool.
3. Pull up on the latch (C) and open the jam release
(D).
4.Using caution not to bend or damage the driver
blade, using pliers or a screwdriver if required to
clear the jammed fastener.
5.Close the jam release and latch.
6. Reconnect the tool to the air source.
7.Reload the tool with fasteners.
A WARNING:
Make
sure
there
is
no
fastener
in
magazine before clearing a jam.
A WARNING:
Disconnect the tool from the air source
whenever
clearing
a
jam.
After
disconnecting
the
tool
from
the
air
compressor, there should still be enough
air pressure to fire the tool. After the air
hose is disconnected, always fire the tool
into scrap wood repeatedly to make sure
all of the compressed air is expended.
NON-MARRING PAD
The no—marring pad attached the nose of the tool
helps prevent marring and denting when working
with softer woods.
A WARNING:
Disconnect the tool from the air source
before
removing
or
replacing
the
no-
marring pad. Failure to do so could result
in serious personal injury.
To remove the pad: Pull the no mar tip towards the
back of the tool following the bend of the wire nose.
To replace the pad: Push the no mar tip on to the
tool inserting the opening of the no mar tip on to the
wire nose.
