OPERATION
Clockand Timer
Your new control has a seriesof tonesthat
will sound at differenttimes. Thesetones
may sound while you set the control for an
ovenfunction,or at the end of the oven
function It will also alert you that there
may 13e a orobtem withthe functJoos.
Below are the types of tones and a brief
description of each.
TONESWHILE SE'rrlNG THE
CONTROL- Whenyou press a touch pad
you will hear a beep This beep will let you
know you haveplaced enough pressure
on the pad to activate it.
END OF TIMED CYCLE TONE At the
end of a timed cooking function,you will
hear 3 short beeps followedby 1 beep
every6 seconds This 6-second beep wile
continueto sound until the CLEAR/OFF
pad is pressed, or you may select the
special featureto cancel this 6-second
beep from sounding at the end of future
cycles
TO CANCELTHE 6-SECONOSEEP:
1. Pressand hold the BAKE and BROIL
HI/I.O pads, at the slimetime, for 3
seconds, untilthe display shows "SF"
2. Pressthe KITCHENTIMER ON/OFF
pad The display will show "CON
SEEP" (continuous beep)
3. Pressthe KITCHEN TIMER ON/OFF
pad again. The display will show
"BEEP" (beep canceled).
4. Pressthe START pad.
If you would like to return the 6-second
beep, repeat steps above until the display
shows your choice and press the
START pad
A'n'ENTIONTONE- This tone will sound
if you make an error or an oversightis
made whilesetting an ovenfunction.
Examples would be:
a. Setting a clean cycle and the oven
door is not properly closed.
b. Setting function and not pressing the
START pad
c. Pressingan additionalfunction pad
without first setting a temperature or
time,
d. "ERR" wilrflash if you set an invalid
temperature.Pressthe CLEAR/OFF
pad to clear the control and resetyour
ovenfunction.
Any of these can be quickly identified by
watchingthe display
PREHEATTONE - Whenyou
select a cooking mode, set an oven
temperature and press the STARTpad,
the ovenstarts to heat Whenthe
temperature inside the oven reachesthe
temperature you haveset, a tonewill
soundto let you knowthe oven is ready
for baking

If you set an ovenfunction and the control
beeps whilethe display is flashing "F"
and a number "F,-4"or letter "FI," there
may be a problem withthe control SimpLy
press the CLr_R/OFF pad and wait
about an hour Try setting the function
again If the code repeats, write down
the code and call for service. Tell the
technician what code wasflashing
