WARNINGS

WARNING
• WARNING: Do not leave your child unat-
tended.
• WARNING: This product is only suitable for
a child who cannot sit up unaided, roll over
and cannot push itself up on its hands and
knees.
• Maximun weight of the child: 9 kg (age be-
tween 0 – 5/6 months).
• WARNING: The carrycot can be used for car
transportation only if it is fitted with the
"TRIO CAR KIT 2013". Please refer to the
"TRIO CAR KIT 2013" instructions booklet
for all the information on how to fit the
"TRIO CAR KIT 2013" to the carrycot or the
carrycot into the car, and on how to use the
carrycot during the journey.
• WARNING: Use only on a firm, horizontal
level and dry surface.
• WARNING: Do not let other children play
unattended near the carry cot;
• WARNING: Do not use if any part is broken,
torn or missing.
• WARNING: Never use the carry cot on a
stand.
• WARNING: Use only replacement parts
supplied or approved by the manufacturer.
• WARNING: Be aware of the risk of open fire
and other source of strong heat, such as
electric bar fires, gas fires, etc., in the near
vicinity of carry cot.
• WARNING: If you purchase a mattress sep-
arately, ensure that it can be fitted correctly
to the carry cot.
• WARNING: Do not use mattresses higher
than 10 mm.
• WARNING: Check regularly the handles
and bottom of the carry cot in order to no-
tice any possible damage or wear. Should
any damage or signs of wear and tear be
noticeable, do not use the product and
keep out of reach of children.
• WARNING: Before assembly, check that nei-
ther the product nor any of its components
have been damaged during transportation; if
this is the case, do not use the product and
keep it out of the reach of children.
• WARNING: Do not attach accessories,
spare parts or components which are not
are supplied by the Manufacturer. Any un-
authorised modifications carried out to the
product will relieve the manufacturer from
all liability.
• WARNING: Pull the carry cot upwards to
check it is firmly fastened in place before
using it.
• WARNING: Do not leave anything inside
the carry cot to reduce its deep.
• WARNING: This carry cot is only suitable
for use on the CHICCO strollers fitted with
the CLIK CLAK system.
• Make sure that the Carry cot is fitted cor-
rectly on stroller before placing the child
inside.
• WARNING: Keep the plastic bags away
from children to prevent the risk of suffoca-
tion.
• WARNING: Products exposed to direct sun-
light will heat up; allow them to cool down
before placing a child inside.
• WARNING: The carry cot is not designed for
children to sleep in for any length of time:
this product is not a substitute for a cot.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CLEANING
Clean the fabric parts with a damp sponge and neutral detergent. Please
refer to the product's care label. Routinely wipe clean plastic parts with
a soft damp cloth. Always dry the metal parts to prevent the formation
of rust if the carrycot has come into contact with water.
MAINTENANCE
Lubricate the moving parts only if necessary, with a light application of
a silicone based lubricant. Always dry the metal parts to prevent the for-
mation of rust. Do not submerge the carrycot in water. Routinely wipe
clean plastic parts with a soft damp cloth. To avoid friction, ensure that
the locking devices of the carrycot and pram are free from dust or sand.
Do not leave the product exposed to the sun for a long period of time; it
may cause the fabric to fade.
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CARRYCOT
CANOPY
The carrycot has a sun canopy and a windshield that can be adjusted to
different positions.
ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY
1 – Check that the clip at the end of the metal arch (diagram 1 A) is
fastened to the buttons on the fabric part. (diagram 1B
2 – Rotate supports B and C, in the middle of the carrycot, into a vertical
position and insert the two metal ends until they click into place (dia-
gram 2A); then fit the 4 tabs on the rear arch into the relative eyelets
(diagram 2B).
NB: the hook-on system for the metal ends is inside the plastic supports
B and C, the round button on the supports is only used to remove the
hood (see section 3).
