Reaction bar
Reaction bars are not machines and do not bear CE marking
nor have a Declaration of Conformity. When a reaction bar is
fitted to an assembly power tool, the complete power tool, in-
cluding the reaction bar and any other accessories, will com-
ply with the Machinery Directive. Therefore it is the power
tool which bears the CE mark and has a Declaration of Con-
formity.

Statement of use - reaction bar
This product is designed to absorb the reaction torque of as-
sembly power tools.
No other use is permitted. For professional use only.
Product Specific Instructions
Operation instructions
• Make sure that the reaction bar is not cracked or damaged
in any way.
• Attach the reaction bar in the opposite direction of the
drive before running the tool.
Maximum Torque
50 Nm

• Never exceed the maximum torque marked on the reac-
tion bar.
General instructions
Operators of tools with a torque reaction bar should take par-
ticular care to avoid injuries due to crushing. For safety rea-
sons – never allow anyone to operate the tool unless trained
and thoroughly familiar with how the tool works in different
circumstances. The tool may only be used together with the
associated torque reaction bar, which is adapted to the screw
joint application concerned.
WARNING Crushing Hazard
Check the rotational direction of the tool before start! A
start in an unexpected rotational direction can cause bod-
ily injury or property damage.
Make sure that the rotational direction of the tool is

correct before starting the tool.
Keep your hands away from the reaction bar while

using the tool.
Maintenance instructions
Daily maintenance: Visual inspection of the reaction bar is
recommended. Immediately replace cracked or damaged reac-
tion bars.
Any modification such as, cutting, welding or bending will
reduce both the lifetime and the maximum allowable torque
of the reaction bar.
