Charging Indicators
After the IMPRES
2 or IMPRES battery is properly seated into the pocket, the charger indicator
illuminates to indicate that the charger has recognized the presence of the battery. Refer to the
charging indicator in the following table.

Comments
Successful charger power-up.
Battery in rapid charge mode.
Battery is charged to 90% or greater
capacity.
Battery is charged to 95% or greater
capacity.
Battery is in recondition or calibration
mode.
Not chargeable; remove and reinsert
radio or battery.
Battery is waiting to rapid charge. Bat-
tery can be too hot, too cold, or low
voltage; or charger can be too hot.
Battery continues to be usable but is
nearing the end of its rated service life.
Applicable only for APX NEXT XN bat-
tery: Battery has been exposed to cu-
mulative over temperature. Motorola
Solutions recommends removing bat-
tery from service.
As soon as possible, enable calibration
and calibrate the battery.
