4. Place the shoulder teeth against conduit threads (or
outside diameter if unthreaded). Contact shoulder
ledges with top of conduit. Engage the shoulders
fully or risk damaging conduit, the electrical box, or
the puller; do not rest clamp directly on top of the
conduit.
Note: Failure to engage shoulder ledges fully could
result in severe injury or death.

5. Hand tighten clamp knob as much as possible.
Note: Grasp the nose handles and rock the
nose forward and back while tightening clamp to
eliminate extra play.
6. To prevent the puller from unexpectedly falling due
to vibration, chock the wheels with appropriately
sized object found on jobsite.
